Apprentice Re-enactment by All Saints Primary School : 2016
Numerous colour and black and white images of local children from All Saints Primary School re-enacting Samuel Oldknow "Apprentices" walk in costume from Mellor Mill to All Saints Church.
Newspaper article entitled “The Apprentice’s Loo” describing the route taken by the apprentices to All Saints church and explaining the need for the erection of two large carved stones set in a ‘v’ shape near the coal pit, which became known as The Pee Stone.

Doodfield Primary School 1968 - 1998
1. Ring bound illustrated booklet produced in July 1998 by Doodfield Primary School celebrating 30 years of history. It contains articles on the day that the school opened, first pages of the school log book and the admissions register, a list of staff 1968-1998 and a history of Doodfield Primary School 1968-1998.
2. Numerous newspaper cuttings on Doodfield school.
1968 : 'Two more new schools' - a new girls' secondary school at Buxton Lane and a new primary school at Doodfield, Hawk Green
1986 : ' Survival beckons doomed school' - Doodfield Primary school came under threat after £100,000 was found to be needed to replace rotting timber panels
1996-97 : Children and staff leave Doodfield school, headmistress resigns, closure of the school
2000 : 'Rebirth of a school' - the building to be reopened in January as a special needs school catering for 42 teenagers
2002 : 'Staff crisis at special needs unit' - reports of assaults on staff and violent and abusive behaviour from the children.

Booklets : All Saints C.E. Controlled Primary School
Two A4 illustrated booklets entitled "All Saints CE (Controlled) Primary School Marple"
1. Published in 1987 as part of the school's 150th anniversary celebrations (1837-1987). Edited by Graeme Brock.
Chapter one contains excerpts from local newspapers during 1837
Chapter two presents a brief history of the school and is largely based on the booklet by Gladys Swindells, "History of Education in Marple 1603-1971".
Chapter three has reminiscences of former pupils from the early 1900s to 1975.
2. Published on 3rd May 2002 to commemorate the centenary of the opening of the "new" All Saints Primary School building. Edited by Graeme Brock.
The three chapters follow the same format as the 150th anniversary booklet.
