1922 : 'Mediaeval pageant at Marple' - original newspaper article on opening of park to public and dedication of war memorial
1922 : Picturesque scenes at Memorial Park' with black and white photograph of two participants
1937 : 'Local plans for coronation celebrations' with timetable of events
1951 : 'History came to life in festival pageant' - original cutting reporting on two weeks of local Festival of Britain celebrations
1960 : 'Yacht pond gift to Marple children' to be used for model yachts and as a paddling pool
2004 : Restoration of C17 stocks now in Memorial Park which originally stood outside the Ring o'Bells on Church Lane
2005 : Completion of book 'World War Two Remembered' by Jon Blintoff and Peter Clarke, investigating the lives and deaths of the men named on the War Memorial
2008 : Sculpture of remains of copper beech tree commissioned from chain saw artist Andrew Frost for Memorial Park
