These deal mainly with the appointment of a caretaker, decorating the Club, the placing of a hat rail in the hall and on 1st Feb 1901 a resolution was passed "that the Marple Recreation Club & Gymnasium desires to place on record with profound sorrow its sense of the great loss which has been sustained by the nation by the death of Queen Victoria and its loyalty to her successor King Edward VII".
